Start: Talk to Mistag in the Dorgeshuun Mines.
Skills: 23 Agility, 23 Thieving, and the ability to defeat a level 50 enemy.
Quests: Lost Tribe.
What You Need: A light source (lit candle, oil lamp or lantern), two sets of H.A.M. robes (set consists of: hood, shirt, logo, bottoms, cape, gloves and boots), rope.
Recommended Items: Spiny Helmet to prevent getting hit by Wallbeasts or food to heal from their attacks, tinderbox if you use a candle, oil lamp or torch, Lumbridge teleport runes.

Getting Started
First, head over to Lumbridge Castle. Climb down the trapdoor in the kitchen, enter the hole in the room with the crates and ask Kazgar to take you to the mines. Once there talk to Mistag. Ask him "What is this favour?"He will say that they think that HAM might be plotting against them and are going to send an agent to check it out, and they want you to be a guide. Accept it.
Talk to Mistag again and have him take you to the mine exit. Exit the caves to Lumbridge castle basement, climb the ladder and speak to Zanik. Make sure you have your 2 full sets of H.A.M. clothing with you.
Give her the robes and take her outside, and then you'll see a cutscene such as the one below:
Zanik will ask you to show her around Lumbridge. The people you need to talk to are: the Duke of Lumbridge, the Priest at the Church, Bob at the axe-shop, shop-assistant or owner at the General Store, any Goblin and a man or a woman. Once you have spoken to all people needed Zanik will explain how she got the mark on her forehead. Zanik will now take one H.A.M. robes and put them on.
After that, she will talk to you, and you will ask her about the mark on her forehead. You will see a cutscene. Tears of Guthix gave her the mark and it will glow when it's time. But for now go to the HAM lair and Zanik will be in her HAM robes.
Head for the entrance of the H.A.M. dungeon, pick the lock on the trapdoor and enter. Speak with one of the H.A.M. Members and he will tell you Sigmund and Johanhus Ulsbrecht are "planning something big".
Find Johanhus Ulsbrecht in the south-east corner of the dungeon near the prison and talk to him. He will not give you any information.
Walk to a spot a bit west of the door and Zanik will spot a trapdoor. Pick the lock and enter.
Once inside, you will need to kill 5 different guards.
For the first guard there, distract him by talking to him, before finishing the conversation walk 1 square to his west and Zanik will kill him using her bone crossbow.
Squeeze through the crack and enter the room to your north. You now can do one of two things: either squeeze through the crack to the north when the guard in the corridor is walking east and run to the guard in the western corridor, talk to him and Zanik will kill him. Or you can pick-lock the eastern door, walk one square to the north, talk to the guard and Zanik will kill him.
Stand on the corner of the 2nd east-west corridor and once the guard starts walking east say "NOW!" to Zanik and she will take down guard number three.
Go to the end of the 2nd east-west corridor and tell Zanik to wait. Once the guard in the north-south corridor is at the northern end walk quickly south and Zanik will kill guard number four.
Head to the north end of that corridor but stay out of sight of guard number 5. Tell Zanik to wait and run through the 2nd east-west corridor to the north end of the western north-south corridor. Show yourself to the guard and Zanik will take down the last guard.

Listen at the big door and the guards will be talking about a machine. Both of you will get caught by a guard. You will end up in prison, pick-lock the door of the prison and exit the H.A.M. dungeon. Just to the south-west of the dungeon entrance will be Zanik's body, killed by the guards.
You will see that the mark is glowing! Take the body to Juna the snake, who can be found at the entrance to the Tears of Guthix Mini-Game.
Unwield any weapon you might have, you need both hands free for this. Juna, as usual, will ask for a story but you will tell her Zanik is dead. Juna will say her death was premature and, after talking with Guthix, she will resurrect her.
For this she needs 20 Tears of Guthix. Using Zanik's bowl you will enter the cave, collect the tears and once you have collected the 20 needed you will automatically exit and Zanik will be resurrected. When collecting the tears you need to remember just to collect from the blue stream. The green stream will deduct from your collected tears. Zanik will learn about her destiny to lead the Goblins into a New Age.
Zanik will now tell you about what she heard at the door in the Dungeon: The master plan to destroy the home of the Cave Goblins. Using a machine to divert water from river Lum to the caves.
The easiest way to leave the Lumbridge caves is to bring a Lumbridge teleport. If you do teleport then you will need to find, and talk to, Zanik in the Lumbridge Castle cellar. If you didn't bring one walk back and from the tunnel exit keep heading north until you find a hole you can go through: That will bring you right back to where Kazgar is.
Head to Lumbridge water mill across the river. It can be found just south of the chicken farm opposite the cow pen. Talk to the dwarf there and agree to help transport the machine parts.
Search an empty crate and Zanik will say she can hide inside so you can carry her downstairs.
Go down the trapdoor and walk west, you will find Sigmund and four helpers. Sigmund will use protect from melee.
Kill him and he will leave with an old-fashioned line:
Kill the four helpers first and then Zanik will attack Sigmund with her bow. Sigmund now switches to protect from range and you can kill him with melee. Well, not kill actually. He is wearing a Ring of Life and shouts you will meet again.
Destroy the nearby Drilling Machine by smashing it:
Zanik will now tell you to take the south leading corridor to return to Mistag.
Talk to him and.... Quest complete!
